The Board works towards creating sustainable livelihood opportunities, strengthening traditional industries, empowering artisans, and fostering rural entrepreneurship.

Overview
The Arunachal Pradesh Khadi & Village Industries Board was established under Act No. 5 of 1989 with the objective of planning, promoting, and implementing the development of Khadi and Village Industries at the state level. The Board focuses on employment generation, self-reliance, local resource utilisation, and financial assistance for rural artisans and institutions.
